Everyday Headcanons
♫ Richard is absolutely terrified of snakes and really prefers to not even look at them. After being bitten by one as a child he developed a fear of them and has been very weary ever since. He most likely won't out right scream and run away, but he'll look rather comfortable and there's no way that he's going to get even remotely close. You can forget it.
♫ Something that a lot of people don't know about Richard is that his vision is actually pretty bad. He just prefers to wear contacts and in many cases even forgets where his glasses are because he uses them so little. However, he does wear his glasses from time to time. Although, that's usually when he's home alone or around someone that he feels really comfortable around such as a really close friend.
♫ He isn't really too fond of cold weather. He's used to a warmer climate and can get cold pretty easily.
♫ Richard's has always had a bit of a soft spot for children and would love to start a family of his own someday.
♫ Even with him being as organized and on task as he is he can tend to be a rather forgetful person. Like when he makes his lunch in the morning he often forgets to actually take it with him and often has to try and bribe someone to take it up to him. He also tends to lose his keys a lot and unless he writes an event or appointment down on his schedule or calendar you can forget it. Ironically, though he does tend to remember a lot of silly details that in retrospect don't really matter, but there doesn't seem to be any harm in it.
♫ As a kid he wasn't necessarily a big fan of sports like football and wrestling, but he did play a lot of basketball during both his middle school and high school years. Now he wasn't a superstar of any kind, but he was still pretty good at it and still plays it from time to time in his free time.
♫ Having been born around the foothills of the Appalachian mountains he has a very faint mountain accent that he isn't always very aware of. Growing up he had quite a few relatives on his father's side who lived up in the Appalachian mountains and would often be sent up to spend the summer and other holidays with his grandparents or his aunts and uncles or whenever he'd get really sick. However, since he left at such a young age it never really managed to get that strong and actually has faded some over time.
♫ Richard is rather small for his height so he can tend to be rather self conscious over his weight and size and will usually wear clothing that is pretty bulky such as sweaters and just clothes in general in an attempt to try to make himself look a little thicker than he actually is. He really doesn't like how skinny he is and it can tend to be a little bit of a touchy subject for him.
♫ Generally, Richard tends to be a very heavy sleeper and can sleep just about anywhere if someone will let him. Ranging from halfway hanging off the couch to something like the bus if the ride is long enough. It really all just depends on if he gets enough sleep the night prior and how much he really wants to sleep somewhere. Although, sometimes this can become a rather bothersome attribute and he will sometimes pass out in places where it's very inconvenient if he isn't careful about keeping himself awake.
♫ He's not very good at handling his alcohol. Usually, it really doesn't take that much to get him tipsy and once he starts he usually doesn't stop unless someone takes it from him or he passes out. However, it can get pretty funny when he is drunk since he's usually a very goofy and silly drunk. Not to mention pretty gullible.
